call up Scott at Assist... he's AMAZING when it comes to VW work and has gotten alot of Brian at Eurotech's mess ups. I took my jetta to brian and ended up getting screwed. one of his mess ups is the yellow bug that has the HUGE front fog lights that was the center piece of their website the last time i checked.

Scott at Assist Racing gets my vote.

I just met the owner of AutoFab and he's cool too so it depends on where you live.

Where is Assist MOTORSPORTS located? Do they have a website?

It's located in Stone Mountain, off of Mountain Industrial, pretty close to hwy 78. Na he doesn't have a website, he's more a word of mouth shop. But a VERY good worth of mouth shop :goodjob:

yup. technically i believe it's lewis road. if you go down 78 and pass stone mountain . get off at moutain industrial and turn left you go up to the 3rd traffic light and turn right. this should be lewis road. you go down about a 1/4 mile and theres a long down hill street on your right with a long chain of steel buildings and hes like the 3 shop on the right. just look for all the cars sitting out front.

I called Scott today and described the issue I was having. He was a pretty nice guy and really knew his stuff. I am going to call him back on Monday and schedule a time to get my work done. Thanks again for your help!

Very good choice :goodjob:. Gotta love the accent :lmfao:

I've never used Scott but i've heard good things... but Brian doesn't work on cars he is the owner ;)

EPG has a tech who is from Germany; sorry but there isn't really anyone i've meet who knows german cars better then Thomas from EPG. Now he doesn't do much if any after market work he does general work on euros. When looking for a shop you need to look at a few aspects...

1) is the shop busy (EPG is normally 2 weeks out on work and it may get longer w/ the large amount of porsche coming through the door now)

2) years in business

3) specialties... many people go to the wrong shops for work. some shops do custom work only, some do general work, some do both... you need to ask the right questions before you take your car anywhere ;)

For you South Siders, the best kept secret around is Chris from Performance Import Group in Fayetteville. Certified , specializes in Vw/Audi performance and offers best rates around too. (678) 817-6466. This guy takes care of his customers 100%, be it OEM parts, upgrades or a simple oil change.

I would reccomend Nalley Audi in Roswell. I know a couple of people over there. :goodjob: Check them out.... Dealerships have the most up to date knowledge of your vehicle & pricing is more competetive than you might think.
