PRICE: 4400 Dollars

I've got my 1979 CJ-5 up for sale. The rig is pretty rediculous, and it scares the shit out of me. Needless to say, I love it. But, I'm cleaning house, and I don't have the time to play with this like it deserves. It will pretty much go anywhere, and it sucks to drive on the highway. It has a few issues, but it cranks and runs great every time. It has never left me even close to dissapointed. This unit has NO RUST, and a nice list of work... including a rebuilt 304 and a fiberglass tub. Keep reading for details!

MODS/WORK:

AMC 304 w/ 5k on rebuild
.30 over w/ .488 hi-lift cam (sounds sick!)
MSD Blaster Hi-Vibration Ignition
NEW Holly 500 2 Barrel Carb
NEW Starter/Fuel pump/Power Master 160 Alternator
Fenderwell headers/Purple Hornies Shorty Side pipes

Borg Warner T-5 Trans (5 speed, bitch!)
Dana 300 Transfer Case
NEW rear end
2" Shackle Lift
15x10 Pacer wheels with spare
31x12.50 TSL Thornbirds with spare

New gas tank
Skid plate for tank
NEW HEATER CORE
Custom solid wood dash
Grant GT wheel
GM Tilt steering column

FIBERGLASS TUB W/ HARD TOP AND FULL DOORS

The truck has a few issues: The top fits poorly, so it doesn't seal perfectly. The doors sag a little, and they take some effort to close properly. The brake lights dont stay illuminated, but they work when you press the brake. I don't know how to work the heater controls, and the radio isnt wired up. It also runs a tad rich. It needs a little TLC, but it is a solid, running, gangster ass truck as it sits.

Hate to break it to ya... But thats no where near ridiculous or "difficult" to drive on the highway. Never the less, cool for being a 79. Im a big fan of old stuff
