View Full Version : Southside Dragon Run!! Nov. 11

So, as some of you may or may not know, a bunch of us southside guys are going to run the dragon to kinda close out the summer on the 11th of November. It's organized by the ASAP and RIU car clubs, but we're going to have a pretty good turnout. We're going up for the weekend, and camping/motels are available, we're still checking on group rates for the motel, but as it stands, $59 for the night, for two people, squeeze more in if you like. The general plan is just to go up, hang out, make a few leisurely passes on the dragon, and probably do a couple more agressive passes. I know some of the hatch guys are gunna be goin too. If you're interested shoot me a PM and I will get ya more info.

where do the dragon run start and finish..
how long is the trip..
this would be my first time..
what do i need to bring...

Well, the actual dragon is in NC, it's only like 11 mi. long, but its like 317 curves or something rediculous like that. The trip however will probably be 3-4 hours, because we;re going to take mountain roads all the way up, just because it's more fun. What to bring? Money for gas, lodging, food, etc. ; you; your car; change of clothes; most people will prolly bring a camera; and possibly a friend for the hell of it. We're going to meet up (saturday people) prolly around 10 AM. We don't know where yet, but someplace that's kid of central/on the way for everyone.

We're going to be meeting up Saturday at noon at Steak N Shake in Morrow.
