If you are caught shit talking another member's car, be it on or off IA, you must be willing to race that person's car for no less than $100 if the person whose car you're talking shit about calls you out. Failure to respond to the callout in 24 hours is an automatic IP ban.

Example:

Prelude owner gets caught talking shit on MR2 owner's car. MR2 calls out Prelude for $100. Prelude says no and pussies out despite having started the shit. Prelude is automatically banned for life.

MR2 does not have to call out Prelude, it's his choice. But if MR2 does indeed call out Prelude for having talked shit, Prelude's obligated to race for dough.. or be banned.

Thanks. The flaw with the idea is if you have the fastest car on the site then you're free to talk shit about everyone else's cars because nobody is going to call you out. So if you have a 34284092344whp car you're free to tell everyone their cars look gay and nobody's going to be able use the rule to shut that person up unless some kind of handicapping system is added.. but then it would be like one big episode of PINKS, so fuck that. I guess the king of IA will just be free to talk shit to everyone else.. survival of the fittest.

Oh and a few things to add to my suggested rule -

1. A BROKEN OR UNFINISHED CAR IS NO EXCUSE TO DECLINE A CALL OUT FOR SHIT TALK. If you talk shit on someone else's car and your own car is fucking broken and you get called out, TOO BAD. You shouldn't be running down other people's cars if your own ride is in pieces. And no, you can't have someone else's car run on your behalf.

2. This is about cars, not people. Telling someone you don't like them personally, calling them a shithead or a fag, whatever.. settle that your own way.

3. The person who makes the call out gets to dictate the following terms for the race: If it's from a roll or a dig, what the start speed is if it's a roll, what the finishing distance is (1/8 or 1/4) or what the finishing speed is (roll from 40-120 for example). The shit talker has no input on this and failing to agree equals bitching out of the race and getting the ban.

4. $100 is the minimum but you can't be forced to bet more than that. $100 is enough to make someone think twice before flapping their e-lips. If you can't produce a hundred bucks yet you talk shit on someone else's car, you're probably a jerkoff.

5. Saying "I don't like front wheel drive cars" or "I'll never buy another E46 M3, mine was always in the shop" is not shit talk. Saying "JDM_Dude's car is a POS" or "BMWs are for polesmokers" is shit talk. So think HARD about what you say, if you talk shit on an entire brand of cars you just might find yourself on the receiving end of a whole lot of $100 callouts.
