so i weighed my car today

2,920 lbs

'97 acura integra ls

so aparently the stock weight is 2,685lbs lol. Weighed it with me in (about 150lbs), tool set (about 40lbs), buffing equipment (about 20lbs) strut bars (about 25lbs).

Well i have no rear interior (about -10lbs?), Carbon fiber hood (about -20lbs?)

soo 2685lbs + 150 + 40 + 20 + 25 = 2,920lbs

I may be generous on the weight of some of the stuff. I'm going to see if my classmate can bring his scales again and weigh it with all that stuff out this time.

what do you all think? sound right?

I was just thinking...you could take it to a county dump or something where they have one of those big ass scales that that weight you going in and coming out...to get a lil more accurate weight...

well my classmate has these scales for his gokart. So i think its pretty accurate.

I haven't put mine on the scales but i don't carry a donut bc the car would sit on the ground so not much use in having a jack either...for a road trip i'll throw a spare fullsize in the back w/ an aluminum race jack with the bags and cooler (fold down the rear seats). The metal brace under the rear seat is extremely heavy, plasma torch holes in the bumpers, and there's a few other tricks to take off quite a bit of weight.

my 94' gsr weighed in at 2,720 with me in it(230lbs) with a spare tire, and jack, and both front and rear core supports and half a tank of gas. the only wieght mods ive done is no back seat and carbon hood....also my car makes over 400whp so you can imagine its pretty fun, but i think maybe the scale was messed up cause that seems a little too light.
