don't buy a cheap english bulldog you will be sorry....to get one on UGA's line you're looking at almost $3k and if you buy the cheapest one you can find you will run into health problems right off the bat....the only reason i have not bought one yet is because that would be my price range too and then i would have to have all the extra money for medical bills and the nose surgery....save your money and buy one on an established line with full papers and medical history of the family

If you go to the breeders, be careful because alot of the dogs will have genetics problems from imbreding

i looked for one for the longest. i've ALWAYS wanted a bulldog, but i settled for a chihuahua...

anyway, i only found a couple breeder web sites that are located near here...but i couldnt find a puppy for under $2,000. they are VERY expensive.

your best bet will be the purebred pets section in the AJC classifieds. go to ajc.com
when i was looking, i found some as cheap as 400-500 bucks. but they have a big selection.

what about an American bulldog? I just got one on friday. They should be a lot cheaper and you wont have as many medical bills. just an idea.
