HOLY SHIT :eek: i was not expecting to see rich go out in the 1st round under 2 mins in... relentless knees in the clinch just straight fucked him up... anyone else see this shit?

Shit man, I guess so, I was thinking this was booked to be kind of a tune-up match for Franklin to look good going into the fight with the winner of TUF 4. Guess Silva said he ain't gonna be a speedbump, LOL.

I haven't seen the fight, but I know that Anderson Silva is without a doubt one of the best strikers I've ever seen. I remember seeing a fight with him against some jobber, no clue who he was, but everything Silva threw was right on the button, accuracy to the extreme. Dunno how strong he is, but I know if he lands just about everything he throws, your ass is goin' down lol. Can't wait to see the fight.

right out of the fight they were exchanging blows; silva got rich in the clinch and started muai tai kneeing him to the ribs w/ in secs he had already landed around 5 knees rich then had to bring his arms down to cover ribs; silva lands elbow to face and then i think he landed a knee to the head and it was over... rich was down w/ 3+ min in the first round :eek:

seriously sliva made rich look like a noob ;)

yeah silva is alot better than they lead on...and it was about time Franklin went down anyway

rich looked out of the element when he went in as if he was not in well health. and to top it off he was facing silva. silva looks to me as if he is a natural 185 fighter, rich looks to be cut down to much here lately as if he needs to fight heavier. the weight deal is a big thing now. power to weight. rich was ranked number 1 in the world of all 185 rankings going into this fight. now what. i wonder if he will go for an immediate rematch or swick will get the title shot? i like franklin and silva, but i was like damn its already over. i expected a battle. thats not the real franklin.

you got me i was thinking the same thing, but i know after the fight rich mentioned he thought the clinch would of been plan for him to take over but it didn't happen that way... rich = bitch he got fucked up like a NOOB! :yes:

Sherk owned him. It wasn't even close. I don't know why you think it was such a great fight Danny. Sherk had some awesome take downs though. Makes me want to get back in the gym. :(

its awesome cuz ive met sean, it was like watching you home team play!! he trains locally with Jeff Bedard (a really good friend of the family) also my moms BF is an event promoter so i go to alot of the Local MMA Fight Parties. the fight went all 5 rounds....so id say it was a pretty damn good brawl...i mean it was definitly the better fight of the evening...the silva fight was gay

Ok well I can see that then. To me it was just watching Sherk beat down on a hopelessly overmatched Florian.
