While normally I buy candy every year, In the 6years Ive lived at this house, Ive had 5-10 kids total come to the door. The neighborhood is big, and over the years I feel alienated from the rest of them. As if everyone from the neighborhood tells their children to keep off my premises. I watch them. They pass my house. They look, but they keep moving past. It hurts my feelings. So to spicen up this year, I bought a pumpkin to set outside the house in attempt to lure more then the average 1-2 people. I'll see how this year goes with the new pumpkin being on the porch, see if my investment payed off.

It was 125 cents, though I could have bought a JR bacon Cheeseburger for the price, I believe it's worth a try.

Its not the children I want. I just want them not to feel frightened. Im a nice guy so they should think its fine to come on my property when its Halloween and maybe newyears. I blame it on their parents since children don’t know any better. Im thinking of putting a sign that says “2X the candy from here”, that way, despite what the children's parents told them, they will still come to the door.

Last year for Halloween I had at least 100 come to my door. None of them realized I was only in my boxers drinking a beer.

lol. We would be out all night and after 11-12ish people going to sleep would put the candy outside on the steps with a note saying to "take one candy". LOL yeah right, we would take it all.

LOL!! I RAN INTO ONE OF THOSE IN FLORIDA. I FOUND A BIG ASS BUCKET OF CANDY WITH A SIGN PROPED UP NEXT TO IT SAYING PLEASE TAKE ONE. I ENDED UP RUNNING DWN THE STREET WITH THAT BUCKET AND A SHIT LOAD OF OTHER KIDS TRYING TO GET ONE OUT OF THE BUCKET I JUST SCOOPED.
