Need some info on performace shops and upgrades for this car, I have seen that you may be able to put MX-6 exhausts and 626 parts on this car but need more forced induction ideas and also performance oriented shops in Atlanta.

Thanks in advance.

you use the same motor as the mx6, 626, ford probe. your best bet for info on these cars would be to go to probetalk.com or mx6.com as they will have more info for what your looking for :)

if you want power, you should swap in some klze rods and pistons, they will up your compression to 10:1. I'm sure someone who doesnt know what there talking about is going to tell you to swap in the entire klze motor, dont, the 98+ millinia have better heads, stiffer valve springs, stronger valve retainers, better airflow, they utilize a better cam setup, and have SLAs

Don't they have round ports and klze have square port?Anyways, get some klze cams or better, headers ,exhaust, tranmission cooler, etc.Like kfzemx3 said, allmost all the parts that fit the probe,626,and mx3 will work. :goodjob:

no they use square ports, thats why alot of guys with mx3s swap over to the millinia intakes, cause you dont loose any power (it just changes where teh torque is) and they fit without any modifications in the mx3. To use the the straight neck in the mx3 you have to relocate the battery to the rear of the car, then cut and weld the TB. to much of a pain for a slight change in torque.

SHIT! i forgot to mention cams, thanks silverprobegt! Yea your gonna want to get a set of kl31 cams they will provide better low end torque and about 12 ponies is what i've been seeing. you can get them off ebay for a decent price, usually around 150 for a set.

Also GREAT that you mentioned the tranny cooler, Mazda's Autos SUCK BALLZ not gonna lie, the tranny cooler GREATLY increases the life of the transmission.

For ecu upgrades, I THINK i'm not sure but you can use an ecu called the KL66 ecu. Its was the OBDII ecu for the klze motors. Though i think it doesnt utilize the je50 or kl02 mafs it think it uses a vaf, which you can get off a mazda rx7 2nd gen.

Yea thats all i can think of. as of right now besides little stuff like filling your motor mounts and little stuff like boring the tb and stuff

Silverprobegt you should come out to a moca meet one day, or atleast meet up sometime, I like seeing other K series cars :)

will need to go get a donor car from the junkyard for that, OR! you can get jarco to import you a front clip of an mx6 that had the lsd manual transmission :)

Sounds like it would be easier just to get another car that already had the V6. I know of one in Austell that has a blown engine, but the shell is in great shape.

wouldnt be that hard

wouldnt be to hard, pull one from the mx6, then go and find the axles or buy new ones for a manual 626 as they are about the same size so there axles would probably work, the only problem i see is the fact he is OBDII which wont effect the tranny, but i dont know if the stock wiringharness will work. You could swap to a OBD I setup but then i dont know how that would work if you have to get emissioned

its very eazy just find a 94-95 millenia obd01 car and go to town. but the only thing is that you have to see if the car is predrilled for the pedals to fix in the car :???: other than that it will work. SO WHATS UP WITH A SWAP!!!!! ANYONE:bump:
