Alright guys, hate to see this happen but i gotta get rid of it.

Awhile back, a buddy and i got this car for exchange on some boat work for a guy that caught his houseboat on fire. Long story short, we both have some other cars that we have to focus on and dont have time for this one anymore. This was going to be a track only car but eh, we dont have the time for it anymore. anyway, the good stuff

Vin: will be given to serious buyers only. My car sits at a shop along with my 4 door and my buddys four door and our other toys so unless you have cash, you will not get directions to my shop

Model: Civic CRX SI

Motor: old school d15 stock

Transmission: stock 5 speed

miles: 191k (ORIGINAL, ONE OWNER MILES); for a 20 year old car, thats not too shabby:goodjob:



The good

-Car is VERY light and perfect candidate for a swap
-Get a key made, and you have a CHEAP beater. Before the owner gave us the car, he drove it almost everyday up until the key burnt up in the boat fire
-The dash has 1 SMALL crack that was repaired so the dash is ALMOST flawless

The bad
-Needs some attention to the body...there are some cracks in the fiberglass and some other issues
-Something is up with the clutch....there is a pair of vice grips holding the cable thingy on....term slipped my brain...yes i know, and the guy droveit like this...i questioned it too but:???: im stumped.
-Needs a key cut...i tried going to honda and got some bullshit after they tried cutting two keys and they told me the door cylinders were bad and they had already been rekeyed which is bullshit cause the original owner never had it rekeyed...the original keys burnt up on the boat. From what ive been told to get a key cut from a locksmith is about ~$40 but i dont feel like fucking with it anymore
-Interior needs a good cleaning out
-door hinge on the driver side is popping:???: i dunno, i havent touched the car but to get the door cylinders out and try to get a key made at honda, LIRL long ass story how that went

Btw, b18hatch, I wouldn't say something is up with 'the clutch' bro... Lol.. If there is vice grips, either the cable housing is broke, or split up the middle of the plastic(very common, I could see how vice grips would hold this together) or the bracket is broke(I doubt, because it is steel). Anyways, check it out good man, or send me a pic, that way, you can change it to it needs a clutch cable or something stupid like that, lol.. but for the most part, I bet the 'clutch' itself is just fine.

It supposedly runs, and sure, lol... Know how to hot wire a honda? Lol.. Seriously though, you can bring a drill with you, drill out the bolts holding on the ignitions(that includes the steering wheel lock too)... Then take out the little screws holding the electric piece to the back of it, and turn that with a screwdriver.... There ya go... this helps too because then you have the ignition removed to take it to honda or a locksmith to get a key cut for it... Since you drilled out the break away bolts, either get some new ones from honda or go pick up some bolts from home depot... Easy and cheap so you can get the key made and still drive the car home....

thanks guys. I went and had a key cut again and the door cylinders dont match up witht he ignition so ive got door keys now, just need to get an ignition made so...

I really wouldnt recommend driving the car far due to the vice grips holding something for the clutch....if someone wouldlike me to get the key cut, we can do that once we get to an agreement on price and i see some cash, or they can come to the shop and pull the ignition and go get it keyed themselves.

i know the car RAN until the keys got melted and went to the bottom of lanier on a boat. the guy drove the car around. as far as driving it in its current condition, i havent even attempted to fix anything on it but yeah, lmk and if you want to get a key made, i will let you pullthe ignition and do it and come back. Frankly, if i start doing shit to it, im going to keep it and ive got other shit going on right now so....LMK
