I know this belongs in another forum, but this one gets the most action.

My CEL came on earlier and I took it up to Advanced to check which code it was and it spit out.

DTC (Codes)

P2647
Rocker Arm
Actuator A - Bank 1
Stuck On

I am asking what this means and how much parts/labor will be if anyone knows.

"P2647 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Circuit High Voltage" this is what I got from another site.

Hmmm....or that code could be the "You only have 5 gears, please trade your car in for the real version."

Sounds like youve got a part stuck in vtec. sounds expensive though.

yea i think i had High Voltage going to the actuator and now my car wont go passed 4k while driving in any gear. It does the same thing that governors do...eh this sucks. lol

That's honda's self-protect mode. Take it to Acura.

i dont have the specs to check the actuator but if its stuck .. i would try unpluggin it then re pluggin it if you havent .

have you reset the ecu to see if its just a glitch?

since it isnt working it is going into liimp mode. i know the old vtec sol and switch was tested with Resistance . but i wont give you those specs since i know they have to be diffrent on the K motor, and im not sure IF* they get tested the same way .

It's a 2005 car. I assume you still have a warranty on it (provided you haven't done anything goofy enough to void it).

And if you have a warranty that is more than likely going to be covered.

Take it back to Acura and have them look at it as soon as possible.

i work for honda, and those codes come on sometimes becuase people run their cars low on oil, so check your oil first.
