Question about GSR block

My roomate has a GSR block thats bare he said i could have..only problem is it's missing one of the main caps the far right one. Can i use mine off my gsr block? Ive heard that you can only you the caps for THAT block but im unsure on this. Let me know thanks!

you have to make sure that the clearance for that journal is correct if you are using another cap.

lol Li i want to but if i get a gsr block i can swap my stuff over and just get the pistons and rods i want..unstead of taping my head...buying a ls/vtec conversion kit...buying bearings,rods,pistons...lol

get is line bored at the machine shop or have it mic'd for roundness

if its ust one cap, you need to plastigauge it an see if the clearance is within honda service specs. If its tighter or looser that what is allowed, it has to be line bored.

if its way tighter or looser than your other main caps, then i would not use it.
