Just to work is about a 22 round trip.
If i go to school, thats a 65 mile round trip, and can tke me anywhere from 30-60 min one way.
But i never go just to school. I have a 4 hour break, so i usually drive another 20-30 miles going to the mall or something.

Well it only takes me about 20 mins to get to work depending on the traffic on the roads getting to the highway, and then you have to watch out for cops cas they are everywhere inbetween ext 17 and 12...who gives you a bloody ticket for 81 in a 65 seriously...

At what time in the morning is traffic 45 minutes to get 3 miles on 85? I need to avoid that.

I drive in from Lawrenceville to Buckhead once or twice a week and it's barely 50 minutes most days... right at an hour on the really bad ones. I think it's 23 or 24 miles.

My house to work is Buckhead to Midtown... 6 miles. It used to be 15 minutes or less but all the damn construction makes it between 15 and 25 if there is a mess on Peachtree.

I am moving to Duluth in about 4 months though so I'm looking at about 45 minutes each way.

10 minutes - Afternoon.

EDIT// Used mapquest to get accurate result.

8.5 miles that takes 20 minutes in the morning (lights, traffic) and 20 minutes in the afternoon.

The problem is that Holcomb Bridge is the only road for about 5 miles around that crosses the river and connects Norcross/Doraville with Roswell/Alpharetta. If not for the back-ups at Barnwell Road and Spalding Drive, then I could probably shave about 5 min off the trip in rush hour.

When it rains, it can take up to 40 FREAKIN MINUTES to get home (5 minutes a mile... i could bike that with ease)

The one good thing is that the trip only takes 15 minutes to and 11 minutes back when there isnt' traffic.
