i have an extra set of rods so all it would take it to get the wrist pin out and swap the rods at the machine shop...spoolin told me he would swap em out just since i have another set with no blue

a quick hone with a cheap flex-hone will remove all of that surface rust......

yea umm that blue seems to me as if someone has already replaced those pistons before...... machine shop heats the end up with a special tool and it discolors the wrist pin side....are the rods moving fine without resistance?

umm that cylinder wall needs to be cleaned

yea beau.. definately need to have em honed, and have a straight edge put across the top of the block to make sure its level.
