i was would how much is it worth a 98 d16y8 engine. i was think of gettin a gsr engine

how much the y8 is worth? depends on the following questions...
1) how much mileage does it have on it?
2) does it come w/ everything (i.e dizzy,tranny,etc..)
3) does it work properly?

answer those and im sure ppl on here will give u a decent price to go about.
im actually lookin for another y8 engine, and for a decent mileage, good runnin y8, id pay anywhere from 400-700 bux.

Why do you need to know what a y8 runs if youre looking to go GSR?? your topic doesnt make sense but maybe i read it wrong

yea...cuz ud be lucky if u got 900 for it. the b18c1(gsr) goes for about 3200+, thats not including labor which will be around 600-700. sellin the y8 would probably be ur labor charge.
