Yea like the topic says, Which pads are you running? I have been looking at going back with some axxis metal masters because they are failrly cheap and easy to come by, also last time I used them I was happy with their performance... However after talking to a friend of mine he says that the axxis's arent the same as they once were. I have only driven one car with Hawks and they were amazing, but they also squeeked like hell and make crazy brake dust.
Cliff notes:
What brakes do you have and why?
Where did you get them?
How much were they?

Hawk HPS Ceramic..not a bad pad for everyday use...less dustier then OE..and brakes significantly better..the regular HPS is better for harder/more aggressive use....
Tire Rack (not sure of price)

I was thinking about going with the hawk HPS this time around, I have heard nothing but good things for their braking power.

I run Project Mu NS for street, B-Force for track.
Also, others have ran Endless Vita Nuova for Street and SSS for track. Same quality, just lil pricier. Can't go wrong with either 2.

I smoked a set of stock STI pads my first session on the track, my next session I smokes a set a of the Hawk HPS, So I cut out all the bull shit and bought Carbotech XP-10s in front and XP-9s in back. They squeal like a bitch on the street, but even with hoosiers on the STI at Roebling and speeds approaching 155-160 on the front straight I couldnt get them to fade.

I ordered them online somewhere, I must warn you though they are extremly lound, if you are looking for something you can actually drive on the streets I would recomend the Hawk hps or the HP1s or the Carbotech Bobcats.
The XP10s that I run at the track are almost 300 dollars for the front and 200 bucks for the rear. The hps pads are a lot cheaper and work better when cold

Good information I'm thinking the Hawk HPS are going to win. I wish someone sold them locally I hate ordering shit and having to wait on it.

Hawks are what I usually run. They have a variety of compunds to fit anywhere you are driving. Racer Wholesale usually has good prices. If you are looking for race-only compunds, Discovery Parts carries a decent amount of them.
Carbotech's are great pads also. Can't go wrong with them or Carbon Lorraine.
Avoid Axxis and EBC. I have always been disappointed with them.
