I just picked up a Del Sol EG2 with a d15Z1 Vtec-e swap (Came from a Civic Vx). I will be using it as my as my new daily driver.
I will be keeping it na and looking to save gas as much as possible.
*My question is? Will I save more gas or get better MPG with a stock muffer and piping or an aftermarket and wider piping?
Currently that motor gets roughly 45-48mpg City
52-55mpg Highway
Any advise or help will be great........thanks

it doesnt matter either wau it will be about the same but keep in mind if u get a bigger ehxuast system you will tend to stomp the pedal more to hear the sound and in result lower mileage

underdrive pulleys free up parasitic drag, which will raise fuel economy.

i say get the exhaust.. even if for nothing more than just aesthetics, lol the stock 1" exhausts look kinda funny
plus i dont think it would make THAT big of a MPG difference.... i could be wrong though.

lol...yea at first I could not believe it my self. ....Then I looked at various sites/reviews/ and Honda spec forums ...and I was like wow.
But on the down side the motor is not quick at all but it is one of the most economical motor Honda produces unless you go get a true hybrid.
