I had the black ipod nano and it worked fine. I uploaded music and pics but my boyfriend decides he wanted to get me a pink one.

So I plug it up to the laptop and it kinda freezes Itunes. It says it is updating the ipod and do not disconnect.

What is wrong with it?

Help please :???::???::doh:

btw while it is updating shouldnt I be able to view my songs? It wont even let me do that.

well since its a new ipod and no songs are on it ..

unplug it and retart your comp ..

plug it back in and see what happens ..

Try clicking the center button nad then the end of the wheel...That is how u troubleshoot...

If that doesnt work....Cut off the ipod and cut it back on, then plug it into the computer.

About the not being able to see ur songs...When you connect the ipod sometimes it freezes ur iTunes or it can also cause your songsto skip..
