as of now:(BASED ON THE AP POLL)
1. Ohio St. plays 4 ranked teams this year.(3 if Peen St. looses again)
2. Auburn. plays 3 Top 10 teams and Alabama @ Ala.(should be #1. NOT that I am a Auburn fan by ANY means)
3. USC plays 4 ranked teams and 0 Top 10 teams and after that beating Tenn put on Cal "I" think their over rated.(see what happens when an SEC team plays 1 of these Pac 10 pussies)
4. W.Virgina. plays 2 Ranked teams AND 1 OF THEM IS RUTGERS!!! are you kidding me? Big East....why are they even in the BCS?
5. Flordia plays 5. that's right 5 Ranked Teams. 3 of which are Top 10!(btw:I hate U of F)
6. Michigan(a National Title contender plays 3 ranked teams. they showed how lame ND is and another is IOWA! :wtf:
7. Texas plays 3 Ranked teams and only 1 is in the Top 10. that TT team Ohio st. wooped them!
8. Louisville plays 3 ranked teams. 1 is Rutgers(why are they ranked again?) the other is another woopie doo from the Big East W.Virgina....
9. LSU plays 3 ranked teams. they've lost to Auburn AND THEIR STILL IN THE TOP 10?!?!
10. Georgia plays 4 Ranked teams 2 of which are in the Top 5. they've shut out 2 teams this year. 1 of which was S.Carolina. most particularly Steve Spurrier; a coach that hasn't been shut out since he was @ DUKE(if GOD was the coach of Duke he couldn't prevent them from being shut out :2cents: )
thoughts?

I'm not really sure what your point was? Ohio State has dominated everyone they've played completely. I don't really see how you can argue that they aren't number 1? Most of the teams will end up with at least one loss, especially since several play each other. I hope there will be more upsets this month. Except of Michigan lol.
GT should be up there and UF should be higher.

anyone else, after reading all the bs analysis of the top 9, realize this whole post was really just dedicated to his love for UGA and him sticking up for the 'dawgs'? :gay:

well for one, while trying to establish the # of ranked teams each of the top 10 play, you are obviously ignoring the fact that rankings change WEEKLY in a 3 month season.
also, you're making some pretty shitty judgments about the big east. i don't have any doubts that west va and louisville can play w/the big boys, weak schedules or not (after all, how is it a fault to any team if the other teams they face aren't good?).
furthermore, you are trying to make it seem that just because a team has lost to another top 10 team, they're somehow not qualified to be better than other undefeated teams out there. that's faulty logic/reasoning at work.
lastly, your bit about UGA is something only a true fan would say. sure they may play 2 top 5 teams this yr, but the fact of the matter is they haven't yet, and their performance thus far has been pitiful at best. yeah they shut out spurrier, but you know what, everyone has a bad day (playing and coaching). steve couldn't help that his boys couldn't get it done, and gamecock fans couldn't help that steve made some absolute SHIT calls to not put points on the board. :goodjob:

if you'd pull your head out of your ass you would have seen that @ the very top, the very FIRST thing I said in this thread I made it Crystal clear that the rankings and judgments were "as of now Based on the AP Poll"
also, you're making some pretty shitty judgments about the big east. i don't have any doubts that west va and louisville can play w/the big boys, weak schedules or not (after all, how is it a fault to any team if the other teams they face aren't good?).
there are quite a few others that share my opinions about the Big East. you'll see when it's Bowl time.
ok, how is it anyother teams fault that they've proved themselves against Quality teams and they get passed by Louisville?
furthermore, you are trying to make it seem that just because a team has lost to another top 10 team, they're somehow not qualified to be better than other undefeated teams out there. that's faulty logic/reasoning at work.
well, it is the AP poll and there are probally people like you voting in it so....
you'll see when the BCS comes out. 1 loss=Death in the BCS you should know that.

Spurrier hasn't been shut out in like 20 years. He knows how to train his players and that was no fluke. Bad calls? hmmm, I can't remember 1 contraversial call during that whole game. I do however remember a few fumbles and INT's.
UGA's D is doing Great this year. 1 of the best in the nation so far. and with starting a Red Shirt Freshman and a true Freshman they're doing pretty damned good. those 2 are probally better than anyother Starting Freshman QB's in the nation.
Generally in the SEC there's at least 5 Ranked teams for any team to face if not multi Top 10's. can you say that for the Big East? No. Pac 10? Rarely?

so what're you're really saying is that you yourself know you're just spouting off a bunch of static bs based on a poll that's dynamic? right, and i'm the one w/my head up my ass
there are quite a few others that share my opinions about the Big East. you'll see when it's Bowl time.

that's fine, as i am sure there are quite a few others who share my opinion about the big east, what's your point again?
lol, well lemme ask you this, who in your opinion has been "passed" by louisville that didn't deserve to have that happen? according to your own theory about no loss teams being ranked higher than 1 loss teams, only teams that have been "passed" by louisville is UGA and Oregon. well, we all know UGA sucks and have been barely getting by with wins and oregon, well shit, i think OU has made a big enough stink about how they were gipped that i don't have to make any comments on that.
well, it is the AP poll and there are probally people like you voting in it so....
you'll see when the BCS comes out. 1 loss=Death in the BCS you should know that.
touche, but that also means there are ppl like you voting in it as well, once again, what's your point?
we will all see when the Bullshit Championship Series poll comes out, but 1 loss DOES NOT equal death if that loss came early, and oh look, the only two 1 loss teams in the top 10 both happened to lose that game within the first three weeks of the season. (oh and this is not to mention that even if it happens late, crazy shit can still happen, or have you forgotten how the split championship took place just a few yrs ago?)
Spurrier hasn't been shut out in like 20 years. He knows how to train his players and that was no fluke. Bad calls? hmmm, I can't remember 1 contraversial call during that whole game. I do however remember a few fumbles and INT's.

spurrier hasn't been shut out in 20 yrs, that's great, but you know what, i'm sure in those 20 yrs he's probably gone for a FG AT LEAST 1 out of 2 times when he was inside the 5 yd line, especially when the first 4th down conversion didn't get anywhere.
and yeah, the bad calls? if you know how to read you woulda seen that i said BAD COACHING calls, as in his dumbass not kicking fieldgoals when they were only down by 13 or so points.
UGA's D is doing great, but goodluck to them when they play a team with just a SLIGHTLY better offense than that of powerhouse SEC teams like Ole Miss and S. Carolina. not to mention the razzle dazzle offenses of such out of conference opponents such as western kentucky, UAB and 9 game loser (and counting) Colorado....
good for you that UGA has the 2 best starting freshman QBs in the nation, but give me a call when they win a national championship ok? cuz then i'll be impressed.
SEC is a great conference, but UGA has yet to prove themselves against anyone worth mentioning in that great conference (call me after they've been UT, UF and AU).

I feel like I should point out here that USC (as in So Cal) was one of the only teams in IA to play all their out of conference games exclusively with power conference teams. Unlike UGA who played a cupcake IAA team and UAB.

there's a difference between trying not to get shut-out and trying to win. Chapionships are not won by preventing a shut-out.

um ok very good, there is a difference, so what exactly are you saying? are you trying to say that the amount of points on the scoreboard isn't directly related to winning (games or championships).

Those are conference games champ. How about Nebraska, Arkansas, and Notre Dame. A little higher caliber than West Kentucky and UAB. Colorado is from a major conference but they also suck terribly and are 0-5. Don't get me wrong if they beat Tenn, FL, and Auburn they deserve a high ranking. But I don't see it happening and based on who and how they've play so far they are were they deserve to be in the rankings right now.

Sorry I meant UGA plays Tenn, Fl, and Auburn. Notre Dame does not suck. They are not fantastic but they are good team and certainly better than all of UGAs non-conference opponents. Tech is a pretty good team this year and obviously Michigan is too.

i haven't shared because this thread has nothing to do w/my team, but i have stated plenty of times before in many threads that my team is GT, my alma mater. fairweather USC fan? nah, don't care of either of them.
[QUOTE=shagwAg3n]and Notre Dame sucks. they almost lost to tech and got their asses handed to them by Michigan.
by that same token, uga must suck too then since they almost lost to colorado and ole miss...and who knows in what horrible fashion they're goin to see defeat at the hands of at least 2 out of the 3 big sec games they'll play.
