not when they are offshores, also their reasoning is that its gambling (which is illegal in 99% of america)

gov't wants control of EVERYTHING... but I think their just pissed that the smarter companies outsourced, so they can avoid being raped with taxes...
now I can understand why they have million dollar pots online, b/c they haven't paid taxes! and thats the gimmick to get everyone over

a. I don't nor have I ever used an internet gambling site
b. I think this is a waste of time
c. if people want to stop this VOTE!!!
d. who proposed this legislation? I bet some Dems are for it, and you won't hear anything about them.
e. is there a "Lobby" for the vegas casinos? if so did they push for this? b/c it would stand to reason people might play poke online "instead" of going to vegas.
:2cents:
Hmm...but what I provided my own server and everything off of a boat?

voting is fucking retarded (i vote as well but there is no point) and i'll tell you why:
1) its not who has the most votes its who counts the votes
2) your vote doesn't even count for shit... you vote someone into office to vote for you...
ps. republicans introduced and pushed this piece of legislation.

yeah, I don't care, I vote... and it don't make no damn difference..
fuck the constituents.. LIRL.....
Vegas is gonna make money regardless, most the people who play online is for entertainment.. you may not have the time, they do.. and plus not many people can TRAVEL out there to gamble....
just buy an xbox360, live, wsop and play that way... same shit, but no money transferred?

If you mean the electoral college, that's for President/Vice President only. All other elections are popular vote.
If you mean for legislation.. if there was a vote for every single issue that comes along nothing would ever get done. Greece was a true democracy and it failed pretty badly. Republics work well but there is not enough accountability in ours and there need to be strict term limits, too.

i understand that and you just restated my point.... your not actually voting on anything other then who is in office. which goes back to my point... i hate when people say YOU VOTE OF DIE; it doesn't matter b/c track record for voting basically stays the same... (example \/)
