Hey guys, I had a really good time tonight. I'm pretty pissed that my car wasn't wanting to cooperate very much. There's very little that's more frustrating than having a hard time getting a GOOD run in (I'm not as interested in who crosses the "finish line" sooner, as I am both people going 100%, or at least equal power).

Slowhawk and I were the only ones to get really good clean runs in, although the outcome would be different if we swapped passengers. I'll run the SS or the Integra again if either of you want, since we had a hard time getting a decent race in.

But, like I say, even with all the mishaps I still had a good time and enjoyed hanging out with you guys. :goodjob:

Me and Slowhawk had 3 really good runs. We went from 40 - 145/150 I believe. I edged him out, but it was even closer than when Kenny and I ran. However, he had 100 more lbs of passenger than I did, so I think if we swapped passengers, he would have done the same to me.

Skettle and I had some communication issues and messed up the first couple of times. Then I finally got lined up with him, and my shifter got stuck in 3rd. I even tried to take it out, and put it back up into 3rd...and it did it again. After that, he and Slowhawk did a run (I don't think Skettle was on the bottle though).

Then Retro and I tried to line up like 4 times. First was from a dig. Dear God, that was awful. I just slowly rolled into taking off, and all my car did was spin. It wouldn't even go forward at all heh Then we lined up 3 more times. My car got stuck up into 3rd everytime except once. The one time it didn't do it, we went from 50 to about 130. I spun something terrible at the beginning, got wheelhop and everything :( It was pretty close up until about 100mph or so, then I got a little ahead of him. I think his friend got that one on his camera phone.

Anyway, so that was like 4/10 races that were good lol And like Speedmonkey said, we need to do this all sooner. I think I left that place at like 5:40AM heh

I got to put a bunch of names with faces last night. I met Retro, Youngn, Cobraclone, slowhawk just to name a few. Only person I didn't get to meet is Crafty.

I had fun last night for the first time in a long time. It's been a while since I went to a meet. I'm glad Will talked me into going.

Thanks again for the coffee and donut Will. I think that gave me a burst of energy and gave me a second wind. My ass was tired as hell at 11:30 p.m. but somehow I didn't leave the meet until close to 4 a.m.

i thought slowhawk would have pulled your Z though. I assume he was still on 10 psi and maybe spinning though your 500 rwhp car is a LOT lighter then his. I can't wait to get my little issues fixed with my car so i can come out and have some fun. I think my coupe and your Zo6 would be a super close race with me on low boost since we are probably the same weight and i make about 20 more rwhp then you.

Yeah, he was on low boost...although neither of us really had traction issues above 50mph. Oddly enough, just an hour or two later when I raced the Integra....I was all over the road and wheelhopping, go figure.

Yeah I was still on 10PSI ,but I only spun for a split secong than caught. Between the weight and his aerodynamics thats what mostly happend. Me and lankhoss were dead even up to around 145-155 and he started to inch on me after that. We hit it from a 20-30MPH roll on time and both of us were all over the road. Fun night indeed. The Z06 is an awsome all around car and I would love to own one but to much$$$$ for me. My car is making 650RWHP and weighs in street trim with out me in it 3789 as I weighed it today at the truck stop.

holy crap thats a heavy turd! :D My notchback probably weighs like 3150 lbs with me in it. My old hatchback was 3250 lbs with me and that was with a 80lb rollbar which i don't have in my current coupe.

Had a good time Sat. night. I was the passenger in Lank's C6 Z. Had some good runs with Slowhawk, I was suprised at the outcome, I was expecting us to get pulled. However, with Slowhawk's weight, and 100lbs more of passenger weight, it turned out about how it should. If we switched passengers I'm pretty sure Slowhawk would edge us out 1/4 car, maybe more.

I'm still just amazed at how f'ing fast the C6 Z is with just some basic bolt on's. It's gotta be a ~130 MPH trap car now, just sick - and it's got heated seats and navigation, what a package! :D

I actually checked to see how much insurance is for me on a new C6 Z06 and its cheaper than my Evo. $60 cheaper every 6 months and over $150 per year. Unreal!

I have made up my mind I'm probably going to get one this upcoming year.

Not only is it the biggest displacement engine you can get (aside from a Viper), full coverage is based off the replacement value of the car as well, and this thing is 70k base. The only discounts I got on the car were ABS and air bag. I was hoping traction control would help, but I guess since you can toggle it on and off it didn't :(

Anyway, let me know who you're getting that full coverage price through, please! lol

I'm with Allstate, because that's who I have my house with. I can list this car under a secondary coverage that way. Allstate homeowner's was way better than State Farm, that's why I went with them.

I think it has something to do with being on my wifes policy which has been active for over 20 years. My insurance dropped over $400+ when they switched my policy over to hers.

Yea the engine was ready last Thursday. Not sure why he hasn't at least picked it up from ProLine. I guess they have a lot of cars they have to get done first before they can put mine on the rack? :thinking: F'ing sucks, it's been gone for 2 months now. :(

normal bolt-ons, cam, nitrous......I have the blue T/A that ran one of your buddies black cobra the night that you ran crafty long ago...Since I ran him I changed the clutch, changed rear gears to 4.10's and hooked up my nitrous
