Cobolt SS is already factory supercharged...205hp if im not mistaken...

They also have a cobalt ss, non supercharged 2. Without the big wing, different wheels etc...

I might be new to "IA" but I'm definitely not new to the scene or forums. Been around for about 7 years in the import scene. i know the guys in the cobalt's...they are both supercharged and pretty cool guys too...saw them out in winder a couple days ago...the guy with the yellow one is trying 2 sell an Eclipse motor cuz he wrecked the car...that's how he got the Cobalt...and the guy in the red one is a fuckin trip, laughed the whole time i was with them...bump.

What year is your wrx? is it an sti.. Just wondering because my brothers cobalt walks lightly modded wrx. His is a little different than the other to though he has the g85 package but thats seats and handling components...

what i meant was that the people that i have met with GTI's GLI's etc, always stuck with the K03S and one guy got the KO4, yet i hadnt seen anyone with any of the eip tuning kits or anything or that sort. i didnt mean that i didnt think they exist, i apologize if i took it like you were dawging on it its just that some people on this forum just like to do that. As far as the stage 3 kit goes, it only puts down 252 to the wheels from the stock underrated 205. the only reason my car isnt running one of these kits is just that, they dont make much gains. Im waiting for my 60# injectors to get in so i can run the 2.6 pulley and then get it tuned but even so, its estimated 275whp.. and thats at 21psi.. thats not much at all, to exceed these numbers with a cobalt, you either need nitrous, twincharge kit (turbo and supercharger) or lots of internal work.

what my point is, is that it states even on the GMPP website that these cars were aimed towards road racing/autocross. some people dont take into account other features in a car other than how fast it is from a dig/roll, if i wanted a strict drag car, i wouldve bought an SRT4, Cobra or something else with the potential of those high numbers. i just get mad when people like KayFunk get on here and start talking about creaming mclarens and talking all this smack about my car, if you can understand.

Kayfunk is a cool guy, he messes around alot and surprisingly alot of people can't catch sarcasm (with hints of mcnoobins road and 90000000 hp...) ... but whatever, the cobalt ss might be a neat car for its class... but its still not in the range of a 350.. when my car was stock i barely pulled on kayfunk's Z when we had rolling starts and I'm pretty sure your car would not keep up with a stock evo... but who knows! streets can always have alot of bullshit happening

Yea seriously i dont know about this SpeedMonkey Z, i have beaten stock 350's and as i may have joked about them not racing they were fair races.. and im not talking about someone i didnt know on the highway, they are people i was friends with, digs and rolls, automatic and manual granted i dont think my car is some sort of amazingly fast car.... and i have lost to them but it has never been by more than a door. And the ones ive beaten, my brothers PT has beaten worse (yes pt cruiser). And Kayfunk.. you havent answered the question, is the Z stock or not?

Jsut for some :2cents: for you guys on the Cobalt SS....be careful when running against some of them. Most people dont now but there is 2 Staged Packages for them...becuase they werent selling good the first year they came out and they where still slow...Chevy has made a 2g upgrade package for them that ups them from 170whp to 210whp....witha slight weight reduction...so if you have ever driven the Stage 2 version if you can ever find one...they move pretty quickly. Then with some upgraded pulleys and exhuast they can make a bit more PSI and about 15-20 more whp!!!! Just figured i would let you guys now!!!

So im not doubting your Z at all, However i do have a couple of unspecified mods about to make friends with the Cobalt and i wouldnt mind running you then, but it will take a little bit of time.
