I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time, but I haven't because I have never came up with what I really wanted, I mean it is something you have to live with for the rest of your life, so... Over 2 years of thinking, yes 2 years, I have really thought about this, this is what I have come up with:

The attached pics are the only two I have ever found that I liked and thought I could live with, but I want something that reflects my passion for cars, bikes, and trucks. So I was thinking something mechanical. I guess what I am hoping for it that there is someone who can photoshop/draw what I am thinking of.

What I am thinking of: A design similar to these with the appearence of cuts on the skin, but in the background, maybe the inner workings of an engine? Like the crank and rods/pistons. Where it looks like I was scratched open and at my heart is the inner workings of an engine? I want to get something done soon now that I am 99.9 percent sure of what I want. I am just hoping to see the drawing first. If not I will be going to get a pro to draw it up for me.

Any recommendations for a tattoo artist? I want someone good, even if it cost me top dollar.

I will give what rep points I can to the person who can come up with what I am trying to explain. I also ask that anyone who sees this and likes their drawing reps them too...

Thanks.

I found some good engine pics. They have nice cutaways and show the internals well...

Maybe someone can merge these two photos for me? Make the engine the background and show through the white in the cuts of the skin...

This is my poor attempt at trying... It gets the idea across I guess, its just that you cant tell what it is inside the cuts, lol.
