Ok I accidently dropped my ipod nano in water and now its all fucked up. I recivied it last year around x-mas. Does warrenty come with the ipod or did I have to pay for it or something. The fuckin thing wont shut off and the little wheel thing doesn't work at all anymore. Can I send it to ipod and they fix it or do I have to attempt to fix it myself. Someone help me :(

just let it sit out a few days and completely dry, maybe that will help

pull it apart, hair dry it (not melt the fuck out of it) reassemble, it should be ok.... if not you are screwed... its worth a try.

heard about someone else that did that to their nano, you're pretty much SOL on this one, it MIGHT work after it completely dries but even then the screen could be messed up.

let it dry. and the battery will dry. then pray you can recharge it....best bet. cause even if you did have warranty and they were able to figure out it was water damage...they wouldnt cover it.

tricks from back in the day..... When I was a kid, I used to wash everything and more that once fuck something up along the way, So my dad use to fix everything by 1) wrap it in news paper and leave it close to a light bulb so the heat will take care of the water; or 2) open it up and put all the components in alcohol, so none of the welds will rust.

I just fixed and all remote control by puting the hole thing in alcohol and works like when I got it.

Good luck w/the iPOD, I know how it feels I had 3 iPOD's and the one I have now it's like my baby.
