IAT CEL Code

For a while now I have had my check engine light but I thought it had to do with the o2 sensor cause thats what I was told. I just ran the code today at work and it said this "P0113 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage". What does this code mean and how do I fix the problem?

you probably just need to replace your IAT sensor, I have the same code setting my CEL off now, I HATE DAMN CEL'S!!!!!!!!!!

:stupid: yeah i had that same problem..so i jsut went to a junk yard and got one..went back to my buddies shop and got him to reset my computer and erase the codes for me...but now my o2 sensor is busted setting my CEL light off again...but o well doesn't really matter cause i can't drive again legally until next year lmfao

I PUT AN INTAKE ON A CIVIC BEFORE AND WHERE THE IAT GOES INTO THE INTAKE PIPE IT WASNT COMPLETELY SEALED AND IT MADE THE LIGHT COME ON. I JUST REPOSITIONED THE SENSOR IN THE LITTLE GROMMET THAT HOLDS IT IN THE PIPE AND CLEARED THE CODES. NO LIGHT EVER SINCE.

NO. IF THATS THE CASE ID GO WITH JUST GETTING A NEW SENSOR BC THE ODDS OF THE O-RINGS THAT UNDER THE SENSOR GOING BAD IS SLIM. IT SHOULDNT BE EXPENSIVE AT ALL. IF IT IS LET ME KNOW BC CAUSE I GOT A COUPLE LAYING AROUND.
