Since the other thread was locked, I started another one. You brought up the run I had a few weeks ago with the black Camaro. Well you see even though I knew I was going to lose I still ran.

Why, cause that crew of Skreet Racerz were calling out a bunch of cars to run from a dig and talking shit on the side. I was told by a few friends, that this guys was asking to run for $100, I am not reallt the type of person to run for money. But since that guy had talked shit to a few of my friends I decided to step up.

I am All Wheel Drive but that still doesn't make me unbeatable, that guy was making clams that his car was stock to some people, that it only had an intake and exhaust to others. That is a straight up ricer move, I was straight up to the guy, I told him all the mods I had, why couldn't he do the same.

Well anyways, a fucking hour pasted and me and a few friends went to talk to them to set up the run. More blah blah blah blah blah, so after like another 45 mins. we deicided to play their little game. So they told us about their spot more blah blah blah, and then we headed out. On the way over there I knew it wasn't going to be an easy race why cause I only have about 230awhp/270awtq, not very good numbers. But like alot of people know I really don't give a shit if I win or lose, we get there and it turned out to be a very cool place, wes et it up and go staright to it.

Funny shit, when we were gettingready the driver trys to pull a chase is a race move a jumps, me being a real racer stays without moving an inch. Guy had a really good launch, but I still kept my cool, second try the flager did his job and so did the Camaro. We both go at it, did my famous 5k launch and put 3 cars on him. By the end of the 1/8 I pasted the sign and let off, my mistake, it was actually alittle bit more further but oh well, he ended up getting only half a car on me. Well it turns out that the Camaro had headers, Exhaust,http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/blah.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/blah.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/blah.gif http://forums.importatlanta.com/images/smilies/blah.gif and a 200 shot of nitrous. Funny thing was that before the run his crew was saying that the most that I would put on him would be about a car, but after they saw my launch they all said DAMN. And I know this cause I had a couple of friends with me. So did the flager. LoL Like I said I don't really care if I lost, shit if I had like 20 more whp I would have taken him but I didn't so what can I say. Nice run, I had a good time and really wouldn't mind doing it again.

first off the camaro was on 245 50/16 BFG street tires. second that night the camaro was running a 75 shot and third its got shorty headers on it with a 80 series flowmaster . so its a stock camaro with a 75 shot. and i dont want to here shit from u Evo ppl cus the group of mustangs and camaro have asked every one of u ppl at bp many times to race and we always have to get out the box of excuses for yall,o my cluch is bad, my shifter doest shift, my wheel is bent, my muffler is new i have to break it in, shit like that yall are always saying

Yeah stock 06's Wrx's are capable of running high 13's. With a very low trap though. The reason why is cause of Awd.

Obviously lighten the car, but I like my A/C and full interior so I'm going to keep that.

Stickier tires and a better 60' wouldn't hurt. Other than that I don't know what else I could do to improve the times without upgrading something else or adding a wet shot.

I was out with Nate earlier last night, and I was trying to get him to come out. His issue is the same as mine is becoming...there is too much BS talking and not enough racing these days. I agree that the "heat" is making it more difficult right now, but its also the fact that no ones wants to race unless they are sure they are going to win.

I do need to address a comment earlier about both sides talking smack Friday night. I didnt get there until late Friday, so I dont know what was said before then, but I dont think I or anyone with me was talking shit. All I did was go over and ask to setup a run, which was already supposedly agreed-to anyway.
It wasnt until people started running their mouth about me wanting to run that viper that I and other people reacted. So if it just has a K&N, I already know the outcome of the race:

60 roll, I will win (not by much, but I will keep pulling).
From a stop, you will KILL me BAD! So bad that I probably won't even catch up at any speed, since after the launch you'll be accelerating while maintaining a 20+mph faster speed than me at anything over 40mph.
