doews anyone know the formula/equation for the numbers you need to unlock cell phones??

what kind of phone?? gsm, iden, cdma?? gsm and iden phones are normally unlocked via cable and software, and sometimes by the IMEI number, but cdma i have no clue...cdma sucks anyways lol
