Now I've never been an "Animal rights activist", and I doubt most people on here have been, but when I see stuff like this it makes me want to kill a baby cow. This is a propaganda video made by PeTA to try to get people to stop eating meat, titled "Chew on This - 10 reasons to become a vegetarian (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5097245970111922287&q=peta&hl=en)" (NWS). This video is packed full of baseless claims, and images of the most shocking slaughterhouse footage in what looks like third world countries. Now I realize that they have their own agendas, but if this is the best you can come up with, shocking pictures to try to make people change, then you've got shit. Sorry about the rant, I just had to get this off my chest. I know it's about a video, but I wanted it to get a lot of exposure, mods.

There was a PETA protest thing up at north ga college one day, me and about 20 friends went and bought the biggest burger we could get from the on campus resturant and went and offered the peta people a bite of our burgers and stood infront of them eating them...they got so pissed...

i dont know what kinda slaughter house they went to for the cow stuff but my dad has been part of hauling off cattle for awhile now. i have been there when we drop them off and watched what they do. before we even pull them off the trailer they are shot in the head with a .22. they are dead before they even leave the trailer. and for large scale farms those animals probably have the best life of all. they are very well taken care of becuase no one wants to buy the meat from you if it is very diseased and dirty. major pig farms raise the pigs on concrete floors. that pig has never seen dirt. they are fed very well and most of the time are killed very fast. these peta fucks need to eat a dick and expire in a explosive array of heat, oxygen, and fuel.

i just hope they dont start coming after hunting and fishing....im a redneck and shit and i need to kill things to survive. plus, deer meat is cheaper when you really do the math
