For the Last Several Months I have had some pretty Serious Ear Pain causing very disturbing Headaches and unable to play records at all. Also with my curent health condition and lack of time for something I have lo9ved for over 10 years..I am calling it quits..After a Visit to the E.n.t. doctor yesterday confirming signifacant Hearing Loss I just say that DJing at lower levels is much better for you..keep your Headphones On..Also after the next month or so when I get all of records recorded to a special Hard Drive and Listed..I will be putting my entire studio and Collection up for sale..Over 12 years of collecting music close to 1500 or so records,Tables,DJM 500, Flighht Cases,Amps , Speakers and Alot more. If anyone cares to make an offer for the hole lot I will gladly take it under consideration. This is very hard for me to dao as I love Dance Music..and It Breaks My heart to sell this stuff but it is what I need to do or I will not stop playing and will chance being permantly def.

Please PM all Questions or Post them Here..Those who know me know how truly hard this is for me and I am in no hrry to pat ways...

Sincerly,
DJ MARK YURM R.I.P.

Man that sucks, I always wondered if years of going to clubs and parties would have an effect on my hearing.

HELL YES

This is one of those things people overlook. I have been playing the drums for 11 years and working with airtools for 4 years, and have been to atleast 30 rock concerts, my ears are fucked. I have had both eardrums blown, and when I talk on the phone my inner ear quivers and my eyes water. Try standing in a 10' by 10' room and practicing marching snare. Those things are fucking LOUD. I did a rim shot and blew my left ear drum. I blew the right ear drum cause someone was mad at me and missed my face and punched me in the ear. Protect your ears.
