Walther p22. by Smith & Wesson, Yeah, Small gun. Almost a toy.. but great for target practice, Ammo is cheap and it shoots great. Is also great for carrying on you since is so lightweight and small. Only draw back is.. Its a .22 . Wont do to much damage.
But hey.. just adding to my collection .. One day ill catch up to jaime and Ruiner :D

I want a gun, I haven't decided what yet.

I fired my first gun this year when I was interning at the PD.

Its the greatest feeling to pop off some rounds.. I ran the GSACS course and passed with like an 87 or something.

but my hands are too small and firing a police issued .45 is hell and fucks my hands up.. so firing a .22 would be great. But I remember firing a GLOCK .45 and it was actually smaller than the police issue, don't know what model it was

they broke me in by letting me fire a .50 smith and wesson. at first I was like fuck that, but before I left the PD I got to, it was fucking awesome

Is great to shoot man.. is simply a great stress killer.

Just buy something your are comfortable with 1st, maybe a cheap gun for starters. Then move up the food chain or you can just go to the range , rent a gun for 5 bucks each and learn there. But that would get expensive.

Starting with something cheap I think is better. But thats my personal opinion.

but thats not bad for 3 bills, is that new or used? I know I can get a used .40 glock for $350

hail, I didn't know you could rent guns for $5 bucks, but if you just want to do it as a hobby every once in awhile that'd be cool.. I think its the ULTIMATE stress reliever..

a learning gun is the best way I think too, you have to be comfortable with a gun first and then move up to the big boys..

I have been looking at those for a while as a starter pistol, they are the only .22 I can find that dont look like a fucking toy. They are cheap too. I love the old school PPKs also. Check out thier website

i'm pretty sure walther guns have been available in one way or another for quite a while (their ppks were favorites of many). but as far as s&w distributing for them, that indeed has only been going on since 2000 or around that time. they do make great guns, in fact, i did a shit ton of research before i bought my p99 in 9mm and found that in just about every test, it outshot the glock and the h&k usp compact. :goodjob:

Nothing fancy or anything.how does the high point shoot ? i've considered buying one when i first started looking for guns, but never settled on one of them. but i know they have that one carbine(if i can call it that) or rifle that that's like $200+tax but everytime i've went to shops asking about buying one the salesmen looked at me like i was offering rectal exams...so i figured all their guns were  .

Nice one Julio. :goodjob:

BTW, .22 has killed more people than any other round. It tumbles when it gets inside. Eventhough the entry wound is small, internally it does a number on a human body. I wouldn't want to get shot by ANY caliber including the .22.

ahmonrah: The high points are sometimes ammo sensitive. Some hollow points will feed fine, but others wont. I have a 9mm carbine that shoots unbelivable groups, but is a little ammo sensitive eventhough long guns are really not supposed to. Pistols are more susceptible to being ammo sensitive than rifles or carbines.

With that said, my little carbine is fun to shoot and it shoots really good. At 9mm and being a shoulder gun, it has zero kick at all. It's easy to shoot well with it.

is a cheap $$ gun, But mines shoots great. Just watch what ammo you use. Hollow points are pretty much a no no.
Not bad for the price. Im buying a .40 High Point pretty soon. Just because they are pretty cheap. Aslong as you dont be using generic shit.. I think you will enjoy it.

julio, just an fyi, used to be you could pick up a steyr m9 for about $300 new (the old models). they are great guns on the level of glocks and walthers but just because the brand never took off here in the states they've had to post some pretty low prices on that gun. i'm still thinking of picking one up at some point.

No I dont want one I was just wondering if it was possible for a random person with too much money to buy a minigun. Im guessing by the post about the class 3 license its not. That site sells fucking grenade launchers too. I was just looking for a nice starter pistol and came across some heavy shit.
