Please be advised that the Site Administrator has approved of the following advertisement:

The Clayton County Department of Transportation & Development and McNair Amusements is hosting The American Heart Association Fundraiser "Carnival" from September 26th - October 1st, 2006. This event will be located at the Gerald Matthews Softball Complex in Lovejoy, Georgia right off of Hwy 19/41 and McDonough Road. During the week of just look for the huge ferris wheel. This will not be your average fair that you would normally see in your local Wal-Mart/K-Mart parking lot, this event will be huge. Along with the many rides and games provided by McNair, there will also be live entertainment from up and coming singers, musical groups, musicians, string ensembles and the list is contiuing to grow. There will also be special guests such as government officials and other dignitaries present. This will be a safe event: Security by Clayton County Police Department, EMT & EMS by Clayton County Fire Department.

McNair has agreed to provide 25% of pre-ticket and 20% of at the gate ticket sales directly to the American Heart Association. Additional funds are being raised through corporate, vendor, and individual donations. This will be done through the sales of space for booths and etc. 100% of these contributions will be forwarded to the American Heart Association.

Please call me at (770) 473-5403 to request any additional information in reference to sponsorships, booth rentals, tickets, or general contributions. We are encouraging vendors from many different markets to come inform the general public about the services or products you have to offer. The pricing for the booth rental is setup to accomodate the needs of any budget. Time is important, as there is limited spacing available for specific accomodations such as power and water. Don't forget that all contributions are tax deductible.

Anyone who wishes to participate in the rides is encouraged to purchase wristbands that allow you to enjoy all of the rides at $15 pre-sale/$20 at the gate per person/per night on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. There will also be a Wristband Matinee on Saturday from 11am - 4pm. Otherwise individual tickets will be sold on location: 20 tickets - $14.00, 40 tickets - $22.00 and 80 tickets - $40.00.

Corporate Sponsors/Vendors: Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in representing your business or trade. I will be happy to forward you all documentation needed and discuss what options would be most suitable for you. There are several packages available to Corp. Sponsors which include the possibility of multiple booths, tickest for annual event, tickets for concert, recognition and/or photos with Chairman Eldrin Bell. We encourage each participant to have their booth setup the entire week. However, volunteers will be available if you would like to leave informational pamphlets or materials during your absence. Currently we have the following Corp. Sponsors/Vendors committed to participating: Chick-fil-a, SRMC, Pfizer, Georgia Cares, Black Imperial, Browns Camping (RVs), Lemonade, Italian Ice and others awaiting confirmation. If you are unable to make a monetary contribution, you can still help by allowing us to place signage in your place of business notifying the public of this function. Furthermore, if you are unable to provide a booth or setup due to time or scheduling conflicts, your contribution will still be going to a great cause.

Local Talent: If you have a talent you would like to share or just be heard, please contact Joehl Eberhardt at (770) 477-3699. A professional soundstage will be provided and there are many available time slots throughout the week. Please be advised that all content must be suitable for the general public of all ages.

Advertisement: This will be done through the local Clayton County Cable Broadcast Channel, local radio stations, signage within businesses, Roadway Beacons (County Owned), local school systems and word of mouth. So spread the word.

I would like to thank you in advance for your time and consideration for this very important event.

Thank you,

Tim

Well the event list is getting heavy. A lot of local talent will be out. I'm not familiar with them, but Southern Metal Records will have one of their groups out 'Head Trip Drama'.

Anyone who wants to volunteer time, participate or just enjoy the atmosphere is welcome. Other entertainment will include an orchestra, choir, and symphony from local schools; various gospel groups, rock groups, R & B singers, a sax musician, Indian Dancer, and a latina group complete with salsa dancers is in the works.
