In response to a joke that Brett posted a couple days ago (http://forums.importatlanta.com/showthread.php?t=81031), I was wondering how many of you would, or wouldn't remarry if your significant other passed away?
Personally, It would be very hard, but eventually I think I would meet someone. I think he would want me to be happy.
What would you do?
yeah, I agree it would be difficult.
But you would have to move on sooner or later...

please move to relationship thread ..
but honestly i dont think i could re-marry someone after lets say 30 years of marraige ..
id prolly just live my life the best i can with my kids if i had any and my grand childrens ..
i mean if someone suddenly appears in my life im sure id go at it but no one knows the answers cause your just assuming stuff right now ..
but if your actually in a situation face to face who knows what would happen ..

I don't think I would remarry, weather my wife passed or we separated. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife and my kids, but I don't think I'd want to put my kids through that whole "step-parent" thing.

i dont know, i'd prolly find someone to date but i dont kow if i would wanna get re married. as is, i like independance. marrying just means you have to wake up to someone else crisoning your shitter for the morning.... while dating...you can have a chick over late at night, then send her home. or whatever you please.

It depends on a lot of things. Like if I had babies, how old I was, etc...
If I died and we had kids, I would want them to have a "good" motherly figure in their lives so...
I dunno though. That's tough

I don't think I could. I heard that when your spouse dies(espically if you're old) you are living on borrowed time.
