Well it is going to be a V8 with about 550hp. It had a 350 sbc but I thought it was not fast enough. Never took it to the track but figured it would run 11.50's no problem on motor with the stock toyota truck rear end with 3.07 gear. So me and my brother-in-law decided to redo the truck. Now it has 325 50 15 drag radials on it, ford nine inch rear end. Should run 9.90's on the motor this time. We will see though about summer time next year.

Thanks!!!! I wish I had the money to put twins on this motor that I am building now. It would run 8's then, but I think I am sticking with a nitrous motor. Do you have a picture of your truck, I would like to see it.

I was not there, and I already posted the pic that I seen on SCF. If possible let it go, because he will make you mad as hell. Just do some searching on SCF and you will see what Thacker does. That is the way he gets attention on himself.

Last year it outrun a 2003 cobra with a ported blower on it, and spraying nitrous, and the truck was on motor. Somebody stole the motor and trans out of my garage january this year. So me and brother-in-law are having to start all over. We just put 325 50 15 drag radials on it, with ford nine inch rear end. Gathering parts for the motor which I hope will be about 480hp at the tires on motor. Shooting for mid nines, on some spray. The truck will aslo get a new paint job before it comes back out.

Never ran it at the track but it should have run 11.50's on motor. Could have run 10.70's with nitrous and slicks. Another funny thing about the truck it still had the stock rearend with 3.07 gears and a single trac rear end. It would run 150 mph easy, it would eat up mustangs roll racing. I can't wait til it is back together.

No we are putting a bbc in the rx7, the truck had 350 sbc in it. And that is what we are putting back in the truck a 350 a little bit more radical.

gotcha. im hoping to do something a little more subtle to mine, im trying by the end of next year to have a 7mgte swapped in my 88..at least i have some inspiration
