PRICE DROPPED!!!!!!! ONLY $5000!!!!!!!!!! 2001 TL1000R V-Twin Superbike. I have had this bike for about 4 months now, and LOVE it! But time to get started on other projects. I hate to see her go, I know I will regret it. This is one awesome machine! NOT FOR BEGINNERS!!!!!!!!!!

2001 chassis with around 19k miles>>
2003 engine with around 5k miles >>> These miles climb everyweekend!!
<<The reason it has a newer motor is, the guy I bought it from ran it low on oil or something one weekend at the track. ALL NUMBERS MATCH!!!>>

bike accident on 7-21-06, while i was on vacation, U.S. Airforce van pulled out in front of me on the main strip in panama city, guy said he was "looking at something on the side of the road and didnt see me" (another words...titties and ass) killed my 03 r6 limited edition, got a little rash and a busted shoulder, im in week 3 of physical therapy right now, so hopefully soon ill be back to work/riding

the 1000rs are well controlable, its just the low end tq when you gas it you gotat worry about. But a very well balanced bike that you can ride nice or hard...either way its a good buy

maybe.. would you be up for a trade... I got a 91 miata, and Ran talked about trading my miata for his 280z with a Rb20 in it.

My biggest fear is taming it.. going from my little ninja to that... but I should be able with some good self control... so I not a noob just not an expert either.

Question, do you happen to have a rear seat for it... If you think you maybe up for a trade... PM and we can meet up and I can look at the bike.

thanks for that info... If the guy is up for a trade, I think I will do it. The bike bug is bite hard right now. I miss riding.. The only thing I am wondering about is a rear seat just cause I be soloing the bike for a little bit and if I need to have a passager. I may still do it even without one and just say opps to anyone needing a ride.

ok ill et you some pics tomorrow when its sunny outside---but the car is being primered gray right now its about halfway there iwill finish it before i get it to you, it has red Drag DR-16's with 85% tread on the tires (Potenza re-92's), it has a Drag Gen 3 turbo kit on it, was dyno tuned by Scotty at Mainstream at 7lbs of boost it put 254hp and 184 ft/lbs of torque to the wheels, stock internals just shy of 96k miles, Skunk2 short shift with the weighted knob, never been to the track but pretty sure itll be in the mid to high 13's, its a 2001 GSR but has sleeper 94 LS front and rear bumper and tan seats, i added some more stuff to the turbo kit than what it came with, like a Warlbro 255 fuel pump, a golden eagle Vacuum box (red), tail 38 mm wastegate (silver) thats all i can think of right now but email me at [email protected] so i can have ur email address to send you pics....i would also like to see more pics of the bike if you could.....lmk...im really interested in that bike though...thanks again....i was trying to sell my car for $7k....but i would much rather trade for the bike
