Bluetooth GPS

Question... I bought a Blue Tooth GPS to use with my MDA (Windows Based Cell) but when I search for the signal, It gives me a totally different name of what its finding that what the brand name is, and then the usaul 0000 bluetooth password (Which the manual says it is) wont be accepted. The manual shows I should see the phine finding the device and it shows the actual name and model # but this shows a totally different brand and # even though the unit on the outside shows its what I ordered. WTF?
