I think ricer is an attitude\what you put on your car not what kind of car you drive...

For example I havent done anything to my sentra, but when I was buying my sentra they had another one on the lot that was alot cheaper, but it had a 3 foot high spoiler and it was lower and had big lots hub cap covers on it...

i totally agree with you. My friend has a se-r , stripped and nonrice modded, and it can outrun my gsr. I'll admit it can't keep up with srts or the like, but damn give the car some credit.

You have not given any intelligent reasons why you think sentras are rice, please, elaborate. I will probably be the first person to agree with you, I just would like to hear what you have to say, assuming, you do have something intelligent to say...Go ahead and let it all out, vent, and I will give you my two cents whenever I feel it is necessary.

but anyway, your right, I have no supporting details. But so far I don't need any because no one is really defending the sentra. Well the last couple posts they semi support it, then blow all that away by comparing its performance to an SRT-4. So I can just claim the sentra is gay/rice with no justification at all, and I'm already on the leading side of this arguement because the only thing anyone can do to discredit me is call me a retarded noob, or jump up in down in front of thier computer smearing feces on the screen screaming the lyrics to macarina as loud as they can while fondling themselves to a 7 year old picture of a sentra they found in the garage.

So its not a matter of not being able to back it up... it just seems like a lost cause.

Anyway, back on topic. I personally think it is unfair to say the majority of Sentras are rice. That is like saying, "everyone who owns a Honda is either Mexican or Asian," or "Honda's are only driven by Douchebags," (I chose Honda, because I checked all of your previous posts, and noted you drove one...) I agree with you to an extent though. That is why it sometimes kills me to drive this car. My brother owns a shop in CO (where I just moved from) called 9 Second Racing-( www.9secondracing.com (http://www.9secondracing.com%29) ) I am use to 600 Wheel Evo's, 1000+ Wheel Supra's, 800 Wheel R33's etc. etc. etc. (shop cars they own) The thing I really liked about the Spec V in CO, was A: The price, B: I am one of the few who actually enjoy the cars bodystyle, C: Its daily driveability, and D: I hardly ever saw ANY in CO.

Well I moved out here this summer, and so far I have seen at least 20 different Spec V's just cruising around the Marietta/Kennesaw area where I live! I owned this car for over a year in Denver, and saw 2 if that! What is worse is, yes, the majority I see in GA DO appear to be modded quite un-tastefully. But, there a select few like myself (Baby J and a few others on this forum) who have clean, respectable B15's.

My arguement for defending the car is as follows. Modified B15 sentra's below the Spec V trim can be rice, I agree with you there. Overall, they have no potential with the QG motor-(unless 10K+ is thrown into it), they are ugly out of the factory, and are also very slow. Spec V's on the other hand give great bang for the buck, have potential, and IMHO look clean as hell after a few basic aesthetic mods. Buying a stock Spec V, and doing what is referred to as a VQ swap, where a 6 cylinder VQ35DE is swapped into the Spec V, automatically making it a high 12 second car. That is with no bolt ons, no forced induction, just that beautiful motor being put in! On top of that, Turbonetics makes a very nice turbo kit, (as well as a few other companies) that enable Spec V owners to easily look at the neighborhood of high 200's, low 300's WHP. Also, companies like Revolution Autoworks, and ProCharger (though Procharger is still in the fabrication stages) make a SuperCharger that is capable of low 300 wheel with no motor build required! All of the above make the Spec V faster than many other cars on the road. If you would like, I can find videos of Turbo'd Spec V's killing modded EVO's at only 8 PSI! Though the QR25 can be problem motor, it has a great amount of torque (something you Honda boys probably do not know about!-haha-Just Kidding) in stock, or modded form. On top of that, when it is well maintained it can be quite realible, hence me using it for daily driving.

Spec V's also have the 6 spd transmission, which is great for long road trips (when I drove from Denver to Atlanta in my Spec this summer, I maintained a 29 mpg average just cruising in 6th gear) on top of that, I paid 16K for my car brand new in 2005, (I have an '05) and Spec V's have awesome Helical LSD. The car claws through corners quite well for being a FWD.

I need to take some updated photos of my car, but once I do I will gladly post them, and I will show you that Spec V's with the proper amount of TLC, and tasteful modifications, can come out looking great.

Plus, the B13 does not need anyone to defend it! Best Sentra ever built, I would kill for a clean B13 Se-r, I plan on purchasing one within the next year!

The B14 is also a very respected chasis, there seem to also be a TON of those in GA, but from what I have seen these last two months, the majority of them are not modded (I could be wrong, I just have not seen any yet though) which is why I assumed he was not going after those as well. A clean B14 is a beautiful site!

I just out of selfishness assumed he was narrowing it down to B15 only like most people do, even some B13, B14 owners even like to pick on B15's!

What shop did you take the motor too? I have been looking for reputable shops in the area, the only one I have heard ANYTHING decent about was Batl'ground (sp), and even then I only heard medicore comments.

I honestly like the chassy of the B14(reason why I own one) but nothing wrong with a clean B13 even though I much rather have a sexy NX than a sentra. I'm sorry but the B15 sentra is the biggest POS I ever seen and unfortunately their drivers make them look even worse. I've meet plenty of B15 drivers and most of them think their car is the shit and i'm sorry but it's not.
