Hmm less than 50 a person, everywhere I can think of is going to cut it real close to that mark, its going to be more about what you drink than what you eat.
M.F. Sushi Bar (my personal favorite)
Nan....New Thai place, its supposed to be awesome
Nam....Vietnamese place, same people that own M.F. Sushi
Blue Pointe, very good
Dish, Nice spot in the highlands
There are a couple of really good Tapis bars but honestly all their names escape me right now.
As far as just buckhead goes, you might be able to get away with the Capital Grill if you don't drink, if you have never eaten there you should definitely check it out.

I went to Django's a few months ago. Q100 have 1 of their dinning club discounts 2 $100 gift certificates for $50 good deal. anyways the food was good and the atmosphere was cool. different kind of place. they have a club downstairs. I took my ex and a friend and we Tried(ie. got the most expensive stuff we could. apps and deserts to) to spend $100 but we came like $10-$20 short. so I think it will fit your $50 budget. G/L there's always a nice place in ATL to eat. :goodjob:

Skip Emerils it sucks, if you dont drink you can go just about anywhere for that kind of money.
The first three that come to mind are Bones, Chops, and The Capital Grill

i know Ghenkis (sp?) isn't like get dressed up or what not but it's in buckhead across from the audlt entertainment store right near the roxy. It's got some japanese and (i think) a full sushi bar. It's about 25-30 a person.
