Also one more thing, I know for a fact a 408 car with the turbo makes a good bit more than 750-800 hp because a much smaller cube motor, such as a 348, made that same power with a smaller turbo. ;)

We turned around and the guy kept begging me to go from a dig, not to mention we are starting on a bridge with trash all over it, i couldnt even think of hooking so after like 80 i let out. We pull up to the redlight at ingles to do another dig race since that was a bullshit run.. I left hard and walked him to maybe 80-90 and let out. Then he said he wanted to go from 40, so he can "use 100% of his power, he's only using 70% running from 20" from 40-110 or so he pulled almost a car. I dont understand why everyone of you agreed to this in the parking lot, yet change everything when its on the net.. please post all the videos so what im saying will be proved. The bmw has power, he just cant hook it that was the entire point of the race.. in fact we kept saying that before we even raced. If he had real tires his car would be quick. alright, im done..

Thacker Vs Nyteryder

At a track (1/4.. which is good for both parties..since I've heard folks want to call the po-po on Thacker).

I have some on Thacker's car. This is a anything goes race.. you can run spray, race gas, whatever the heck you want to run.. Any tires (Obviously slicks would be the best). Everybody will be "ready to race". No meeting on the street and go for it type things.. A ready to roll run what ya brung track race. Maybe even at bugman's track day (that'd be awesome, since he has a track rental.. but that'd be up to him)

Would make for a fun wager.. anything could happen.. clutch let go in thacker's car, tranny break in nyteryder's.. whatever the case may be.. it should be a 1 race is all she wrote type deal.

Thoughts?

BTW: The guy who said that he knows multiple 4cyl that can beat "any" SS on the 60' and topend.. you are FAR mistaken. There are tons of SS's with 60' times in the 1.1-1.2 range that will walk the dog all over even the fastest of 4 bangers from start to finish. Some may be 1st gens, some 2nd.. some 4th.. all depends.

Ever since the 60's, its been run what you brung, dead stop to the 1320 and whoever is in front is the winner. It is not my fault you can't build a car that can hook. It is not my fault you can't get a transmission to hold the power. It is not my fault you don't know how to bleed your hydraulics to keep it from locking you out of a gear.

My car WILL outrun you from a dig on the street, to the 1320. With mine on motor and yours on race gas, 23.5 PSI or whatever else you want to do.
