hey guys, im trying to do my first headgasket job on a 94 civic four door. my question is: i have ALL nuts off of the intake (minus one) and its between the two middle runners on the intake on the back of the head. It is a BITCH to get to. i know its a 12mm but everytime i get a wrench on it (socket is too long, even a short) it slips off anytime i get ready to turn it. Does anyone have a easy solution to do this or have a link for head removal that shows bolts?? thanks in advance and any info will be helpful

either way, ive got to take off the manifold to have the head sent off to machining

u can always take it off the cylinder head when its off the car after all you only have one bolt left

this is true, lol. i never thought of that. can you break down a easy process of how to take it off? right now i just have the exhaust undone and the intake almost off, lol.

Oh, pretty much remove the exhaust mani, everything d/c from the intake mani, remove t-belt, remove cam and take the head bolts out. Im not sure if they are numbered on that motor but make sure youve got the cam caps in the right order.
