Today I had my panel interview with the Roswell PD. I was so nervous, but seriously it was the best interview I have ever had. They even said I impressed them a lot. I got offered a job and have to pass a lie detector test and I am done. I am so excited. So I just wanted to share my good new with you guys!! :police:

How can they hire you to be a police officer without going through training and the acadamy?

They offer you a postion. Its a agreement that you have to sign before the lie detector test. You can look it up on diff PD websites. It explains it. I have the job offer bc I went through the Chief today after being question by all the higher rank officers. The Academy is training of course but you have to be hired by a PD before you can even go to the academy. Thats why its called a job/position offer.

Desk position?

Its not a desk position. Its patroling and of course you rotate with other police officers doing other tasks that are ask of you. Of course your in a patrol car most of the time but you have to split up other jobs with other officers.
