Question About The H22

I own a 1990 Honda Civic LX. I am having a power stuggle with deciding between getting a new VTECH engine or to get a H22. I want to lean to the H22 for the more power it can offer me with the sacrifice of weight. Pleast give any information that might help me. Like so Pros and Cons or something.

That is one thing I dont know. I didn't know if all or just some H22 are vtec.
