my friend is tryin to sell me an ebc for 30$..i was under the impression you had to be chipped to use an EBC? he says i i can use it as long as i dont go over 14.7 lbs...? any truth, or what?

That is true, but the EBCs limits make it pointless, get the chip, most of the run you over 18 psi, closer to 20. The EBC does nothing to the timing also, so you are adding fuel to a system that is getting nothing else modified, EBCs make the car go BOOOM!

ebc is pointless and not good for the car as suggested... run software its the best 500$ you'll ever spend :goodjob:
