Last Atlanta Motor Speedway Drag Night

As I'm sure most of you already know, this friday is the last drag night for this season. There have been rumors goin around that they plan to build a track for next year.
I was thinkin some of us could meet up at Summit Racing or somewhere on Jonesboro Rd around 5:00. Then leave about 5:30 to eat or just ride out to the speedway if you want. It would be fun to go up in a nice little group. Just add your name to the list if you're up for it.
Also if you have a problem with the time or meet place, post up some ideas so we can try and get something started :goodjob:

that sucks you can't go. What do you do at summit? I applied there, they called me and told me they would call again to set up a time for an interview but never did. Got a card in the mail 2 weeks later said that they weren't hiring lol.

The races last all night pretty much. The practice runs are from 6:30-9:00pm Then they break the cars up into different classes. Last time they ran the import classes first run wasn't till around 11:30 or so.

try going on summit's website to get their address. Then get directions from mapquest or somewhere else. It's right off of I-75, i don't know the exact number but it's a McDonough exit. I believe there are signs for it that you can see on the interstate. We need to set up an exact time to meet if we're gonna do this!

i was waiting all night for that...the way they have that course set up is prolly the most dangerous way possible...lol all that was seperateing people from the track was a little retaining wall and a 4' tall fence but he was a hell of a driver to save it

amd there were about 2 or 3 white talons out there wasn't there


EDIT: The only thing banks makes for an F150 is an exaust system.....

i was just wandering cause it was my buddys car and i didnt get to nake the race, i think he said he made fourth, it was his first time running it, i dont know what else to describe it so you know which one it was, except it is white w/ boosted elements writen on the back, awd tsi i think 90. yeah and the truck belongs to his g/f brother its pretty sweet

Also for anyone! PM me if you know what the hell taht old 4 door turbo black thing was. Sounded like a jet engine had to be a 50s or 60s no younger. Absolutely the fastest car out there.
