Everything I've been seeing after the Carolina game is how much improved the Falcons are this year and how they are a sure NFC contender.

I about came through the TV when they pulled that BS on the winning FG before OT. It was clear that the official didn't blow until AFTER the snap. That was total BS. We won anyway, but damn.

Cincinnati is not going to be a push over next week. Although they've lost 2 out 3 of the last games, they're really a good team. Atlanta is going to have to play like they did yesterday. All intensity, no giving in. Even if they score, we come back to score. They screw up, we capitalize.

Vick and the Falcons played like a championship team last weekend, period. They drove down the field at will, they scored just about every time they should have, and Vick threw just as good or better than any other "passing" QB in the league. What was his QB rating? 150+ or something? If memory serves me correct, he had a very good completion % for the day. I don't think you can call that a FLUKE. A good day, yes. Fluke, hardly.

Just FYI:

Mcnabb, who is the entire league's leading QB, has thrown for 16 TD's so far. Brady and Manning are right behind him at 15 and 14.

Where's Vick? 10. 6 less than a QB that has TWICE as many yards and over 100 more ATTEMPTS and an offense totally geared towards PASSING.

If they would let Vick throw more and he threw like he did last weekend, he'd be right on up there with the rest of the high caliber QB's. On top of that, he can run whereas NONE of the top rated QB's can run like him.

He played a hellva game last week. Let's give him credit when it's due.

On a side note... JIMMY WILLIAMS NEEDS TO GET HIS ASS BACK NOW! I hate seeing Allan Rossum as our starting CB...
