hey guys i got a 2.4 farad capacitor today for my system will it drain my battery when the car is not on??

no it wont drain the battery, but it also wont do you any good. Its just more of a drain on your electrical system.

mr. jimmy is correct...you might want to think about upgrading your altenator cause the cap will just help your current altenator die quicker. just food for thought...

actually since you have a dsm, dont put a system in, those things are suppose to be fast...so no system for you!

@DJ i know they are supposed to be fast IF you have the 2.0L i have the 1.8

excessive amperage makes a very highly reguarded HO alternator. Dont bother with the rewouldn ones though. The make higher amperage at speeds, but lower amps at idle. You want a true HO alt.
