OK heres the deal: the car is a 95 gsr black with primered fenders:

drivetrain:
-95 gsr tranny perfect w/phantom grip lsd no grinds(we all know that these trannys go 1000now a days
-has a b18b1 ls motor w port and polished head (i was told)
-carbon fiber intake
-kamakazie header
-new clutch
-143,000
-push start or regular start(optional)
-in all honesty if u was to put some bearings in the bottom end and i think it will be ok because the can runs now it just has a knock on start up
-tanabe G-medallion exhaust
-all ac components in tact

exterior:
-sprint springs 2inch drop
-98-01 all red tails
-94-01 wings west front lip
-wings west rs sides
-great tinted window(locced out)
-bumpers ok but needs replacing(front)
-18 inch silver excel c5 type wheels w/great tires about 80 to 90% tread on them needs two center caps from wheel max.com

interior;
black clean cloth interior
clean door panel w cloth interior
white face guages(why i dont know)

this car is a gsr with an ls motor, the original motor slung a rod through the block ,just because it doesnt have the gsr motor in it that does not make the CAR A GSR so dont need sarcasim or crazy quotes in this thread, if u are interested thats find and dandy but if not u can keep dump opinions to yourself ..and invisible u can get the car for 2000 without gsr tranny or 18inch wheels..but if people are going to hand out smart opinions on this thread THE NEXT MODERATOR WHO LOOKS I ASK FOR THE THREAD to be deleted because ill rather not have the thread than to listen to people smart ass opinions ....thanx..

Yeah man, im going to have t oagree with everyone. GSR or Not, its got a knocking bottom end, needs paint, running GSRs with GSR motors go for $3000-4500

I think you would be better off parting it out, selling the shell, tranny, motor, wheels, etc.

BTW GSR trannys with Phantom Grip LSDs go for maybe $600-700, the GSR Trannys with REAL LSDs (kaaz, ITR) go for $1000.

You must not know about your motors:

Knocking at start up defined:

Oil pump not holding pressure over a period of time
Knock begins with substantial wear of bearings
Knocking causes crank journals to distort
knocking causes rod ends to become out of round

in other words you need:

Oil pump
Bearings
Crank to be undersized
and hopefully u dont need new rods yet


PS.. for the cost of repairs u rather get another motor

is the orignal ls tranny and wheels going to be included? if so then i'm interested, if not then thats going to make the price even lower...gsr without engine but with gsr vin = higher insurance. its still being registered as a gsr but it isn't really a gsr though. IMO the engine is the heart of the car, with the heart needing open heart surgury immediatly or the buyer will be facing a vehicle heart attack (blown motor) the price for it is kinda steep. Then to top it off, one would need to get it painted. that is kinda bad yo. if i were you, and i wanted to get the price for that GSR with LS swapped vehicle, i would part ways with the motor and try to get a GSR back in there or at the very least, get the bottom end fixed to make it more appealing, dude if the car had at least been straight on the outside and had the rod knock, even still all i would have to do in theory would be to get a bottem end and even though my car is a GSR by vin, at least i would have a car that would be reliable enough to drive around town. Dont get me wrong dude the car could be a very nice car if the problems that it currently has weren't there, i could then see selling itfor 3600+ I would even make the deal worth while by slapping on a turbo kit to make up for the lack of the car being a GSR w/ LS swap.
