18 for long rifles, 21 for handguns (there are a few exceptions to the handgun rule though)

Big J

The gun laws in GA are weak, as far as Ga government is concerned the serial # on this rifle has no name attached to it. Private sales require no licence or background check, but I'm going to see about having one run on the buyer anyway, if that's a problem go buy somewhere else.

$800 is a firm price, don't waste my time by PMing me an offer under $800, this is a bargin.

went to vegas for a bachelor party this past weekend and shot a m16 at the gun store.

fun times definitely :p

is this thing full auto or semi??

I know barely anything about assault rifles but that m16 sure was fun to play with haha!!

aznevo8
08-29-2006, 09:11 AM
being a lar-15 it should be a semi-auto. only the class 3 m4 and m16 are 3 round burts(auto). class3 would take you between 2-4 months to obtain the tax stamp. im working on saving up for a m82a3 and a class3 full auto mp5. cant wait!!! oh yeah silncers as well. bump bump still for a great deal!!!!

Big J
08-29-2006, 11:28 AM
Semi auto. A Pre 1986 class 3 M-16 would easily cost $10,000 before brokers fees, because private sales are not allowed, and the $200 federal tax stamp.

Why a .50cal? There aren't (m)any places in Ga to actually get off +2000m shots, and 200-300 isn't much fun when you know there's a good 1700-2200m in which you could still hit a 2in circle. I say buy my gun for now, work on 200-300m shots and then when you're proficent, trade it in on the Barrett. You should be able to hit paper plates out past 300m with just the sights, the scope is just to try to get the bullets through the same hole.

well i already have a DPMS AR-15. i am working on getting the .50 for fun. i can shoot it when i go out into the bumblefucks of ga. im also trying to get a class 3 G36K or C doesnt matter to me. and a surpressed mp5. if you had an ACOG scope with the red chevron rectile then id definitly buy that off ya if its cheap enough. ive had my fun up to 500 meters so im trying to get shit people rarely have. bump bump for your lar.

aznevo8
09-01-2006, 10:42 AM
oh yeah ..... and trust me im damn proficient with any 5.56 and as we all know.... almost anyone can fire a 9mm sub sufficiently. thats why i want the class 3. im not going to be in georgia for much longer. im going into the USMC so i am gonna take all my weapons over to california. and most gun owners know that cali has strict laws in having firearms. if i end up selling mine over there it would be worth 5 times for what i bought it for.

Anyways... the RRA-Lar-15 is a great firearm. a lot of people at the range i go to use the rock river arms weapons and love it. I ,personally, didnt like the setup of the weapon. so i used the DPMS AR-15 with a 3 pount tact sling, surefire quad rail, surefire forgrip, hogue pistol trigger grip, and a surefire p60 tact light. what sight are you using? ive really had my heart set on the Trijicon ACOG but a good deal is a good deal. lol. thats if your willing to part out the weapon (scope-sight). i have a detachable iron sight rail/carrying handle so i think we should be ok.

aznevo8
09-06-2006, 04:24 PM
it should be .223cal 5.56mm i HIGHLY doubt its a .22 cal. cause those things dont even kill rats if i tried. Actually. the .22 is the best ammunition to kill a person with. only if you have a good shot. a .22 can enter the skull and never create an exit wound. it will continue to travel throught the brain until it is stopped by constantly bouncing off the wall of the skull and the friction of the brain mass. a little education!!
lol BUMp BUMP. nice pics not a fan of the pistol trigger foregrip. ill stick with my surefire one. and that scope is too big for my taste as well. BUMP

ballpark 5000-10000, some where in that range, closer to the low end, it's really hard to say. It has to have been almost a year since I've fired it. It's well taken care of, I'm prior service Army, you can white glove it if you want.

You've never tried to sell a gun to a gun store. They will only buy somthing if they can make a certain percentage off of it, they know the most they can get for somthing, if the numbers don't work, they won't do it. They'll lowball you worse than most IA members :D. The people they love to buy guns from are women, who come in trying to sell guns their husband/father/brother/uncle left them, they don't care what they get for them.

i can get that off tha street for cheaper

Big J
09-16-2006, 12:30 AM
Sorta, but what are you really going to get? This is a target rifle, you can get an AR for $650 (I don't know what they go for on the "street"), usually it'll be pieced together and the components won't be as well matched. The barrel alone is a $300ish piece, then add the gunsmithing to fit it and the parts to fit the bull barrel. This isn't a gat, piece, heater, blaster, whatever you want to call it, it's a target rifle, it's well put together, tight tolerances, high end components, and well taken care of. The part of the barrel under the handgaurd is over an inch in diameter, it's cut down after that so it doesn't weigh too much, and modified parts will fit. Granted it doesn't make much of a diffrence if you don't know about these weapons or can't take advantage of the refinement. $650 or $1600, I'll still hit paper plates at 300+ meters, with just the sights, with an AR15/M16, that's your tax dollars at work :)
