aftermarket steering wheel help!!

so I put my steering wheel on this morning, but my srs light stays lit. i know because the airbag isnt there but how do i over ride it? somebody please help!!

u could unplug it under the steering column or take the bulb out of the instrument cluster.

yeah but wont that throw up a flag when i go to get emissions or will it not?

no it has nothing to do with emissions. I have an aftermarket steering wheel on my car and I just unplugged all of the srs harness and took out the bulb.

shit on my civic one of the airbag sensors was fucked up so i jsut took the damn bulb outta the instruemnt cluster...simple as that....:D
