Hi ,I have the d9 12in sub. I have the d6 1500 amp. What would you speaker people recomend I put the low pass, and subsonic pass thing on. I play rock/metal/rap music, and I like it loud if that matters. Thanks much.

Do you have a sealed or vented (ported) box? If you have aported, do you know what the tuning frequency of the box is?

Regarding the x-over point, I would suggest startin with about 100 Hz. Play the system at a medium level, and listen to it. Adjust the x-over frequency until it sounds best to you. Depending on the box and vehicle, you might go as low as 60 Hz for the sub. It also depends on how much mid-bass you have in the car also...

Let your ears be the final judge though....

If you have a vented box, I think Diamond suggests a 26 (or 28-ish) subsonic filter. I forget the exact number, but 28 and 32 are sticking in my head for some reason....

if its ported find the tuning freq and set the subsonic filter 3-5hz below that. If its sealed turn it off or set it as low as possible.

as far as your low pass goes :stupid:

Yes, you are late. This thread is 5 months old.
Diamond made the D9 woofers in 10,12, and 15 versions.

Not too sure of theier current (2007) line-up. They were not at CES this year with a booth.
