Nyteryder vs mainstream teg (aftermath)

As previously arranged, I met the owner of the teg and our local hangout to wait for all those racing and videoing. At 12am we left to our"private location" to set up speeds, camera, gas, and who is racing who and in what order, lead car ect. After all that is arranged we went out for som fun. 1st run from a 40 kick and we shut down at 130ish, I pulled a billboard plus. 2nd run, same senerio and the same outcome. From a 60 kick, shuting down at 140ish(I burried the needle so hard it broke fro a short period) It was a good 1 1/2 bus from my view. After those runs we meet up and dicuss the other runs and he wants to run 1 more time with him flashing the go and from a 60 kick. I didnt see his first flash so he got a good jump but I reeled him in and 3+ cars. All in all it was a fun not and not much complaining. I am sure we will do it again. We have video of all these runs and will be posted as soon as they are done editing.

Yeah, it was a fun night, no doubt. I didn't know how the runs were going to pan out, but all in all, it was fun. I'll be out next weekend again. I wasn't able to get into high boost because my car kept breaking up really bad, so I went in with low boost. I didn't expect to win but it was fun.

I'll get some fresh plugs and we'll meet up again, same place, next Saturday night.

Unless H&M have more then 1 orange integra then I hope you changed turbos. I know a SC61 can't support those kind of numbers. I know the CRX makes "GOOD" numbers but I also know what the teg makes.

I think that would be a good run with all three. Remember, I have the dyno that has tuned ALL three cars. I know the power they all make.

As far a s my car is concerned, I have a phatboy BUILT 240, you guys did work that couldnt be done in my garage and you did a great job with what you did, my car is running stronger than ever. But there is a big difference between building a car from the bottom up, and a couple boltons with a tune. me and the 280(green car) were dead even in third, but he brake boosted and i didnt, and when we shifted to forth it started sputtering and lost power and thats when i backed off and he jumped ahead, i would like to run him again next saturday, as fas as my map sensor goes nyteryder, its not totally shot, when i was getting tuned friday night at mainstream (big props) we were finishing my pump gas tune and at 6k we lost the a/f signal and backed off, scotty checked the voltage on the map, and he said its supposed to be between 2.7 and 3 volts and it was only reading 1.6 volts so the car still runs, just pretty rich, still makes good power though

Thats a little different than some other people who saw it recalled, but thats cool. I dont know at what speed you started breaking up. BTW, I may have "brake boosted," but I didnt go until after you started. I was also in 3rd gear b/c my 3rd gear synchoros are shot and I cant go 2-3 at high RPM. I was at 3k rpm... I needed to brake boost.
We'll run again...same as this time...pump gas to pump gas... maybe not next weekend because my transmission is getting worse and worse and its going in the shop soon, but it should be done in a couple weeks.
btw, its a 240 ;)
